Divemaster Program

You’re ready to take the next step and turn your passion for diving into a career. Completing your Divemaster course through the IDC internship program will ensure you learn from the best on Koh Tao, fully preparing you for dive leadership. Under the guidance of our highly professional instructors you will develop excellent role model behaviour, dive ethics, advanced dive theory and exemplary dive skills. During your internship you will become an integral part of the IDC team and as part of our team you will be assisting with actual customers and students in training.  Alongside your instructor you will learn the techniques for managing and entertaining certified divers on dive tours and experience programs maintaining professionalism, customer safety, environmental awareness and fun! You will also have the opportunity to be involved in the day-to-day running of our dive operation and gain orientation and experience in the following areas: compressor, tanks and equipment orientation, front-of-house, boat orientation, along with the core divemaster course requirements.
